  2. Strength wraps

    You may have seen Chris’s fancy new wrist wraps around the gym, I picked up a pair too last weekend at the games, they are super comfortable to workout with, self adjusting and fabric so you can easily clean them.

    Scott will be making a trip to fitness town this week to pick up some. Please let him know if you’d like a pair too. $25 + taxes. Comes in black with either blue trim, green trim, red trim, pink trim or all black.

    Lions 5k

    Bring your running shoes and iPods. Lions 5k is going down today.

    Lions 5k
    Run to the concrete steps behind save on foods. Accent 5 times and on the fifth accent go along the top road till the stop sign and then go back down the trail and run to the gym.

    The Chief

    This is one of my favourite CrossFit workouts. The power clean should be at a very manageable weight so if RX is heavy then scale down the load.

    Friday Workout

    “The Chief”
    as many rounds as possible in 3min:
    3 power cleans 135/95
    6 push-ups
    9 air squats

    Repeat for 5 cycles, rest 1min between cycles (meaning there are 5 3 min rounds)
    Partial rounds count but you must finish that partial.
